It's up now, and appears to be the exact same ROM, they only added a "_web" onto the file name, probably so we couldn't download it anymore after they blocked access to their server.
The file sizes are the same, I don't think there is really any difference.

First post has been updated with new file.

i had installed the srpint 3.42.10 radio can i just flash this rom or do i have to take some special steps?

It will change your radio if you run the exe.

I've added the .nbh file containing only the Rom (not the radio like in the exe) to the first post.

Okay I've installed this Telus 6.1 ROM. Now is it worth it upgrading the radio to 3.42 and if so can I just upgrade the radio to 3.42 from 3.41 keeping all of the original Telus configurations. And if so, where would I find just the 3.42 radio to install?

Hello again,

I did the upgrade with apparently good results, but now I've started seeing:

"Windows has encountered a problem with Device.exe"

error report messages occasionally. I can just dismiss the message and things seem to keep working without a problem.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is it just a bad ROM install? What the heck is Device.exe?

OMG! The ROM's on HTC's site now! Although it doesn't mention GPS functionality.... I'll let someone else try it first...

It looks to be the same version - 3.07.661.1, radio 3.41.00

Is there likely to be something different about the installer that means all the little steps and tricks you guys worked out to make the leaked ROM actually work won't be needed?

I too am having the same error with "Device.exe" crashing and wanting to send a report back to Microsoft.

it worked for me and GPS was great...i only had it on my phone for like 10min then i went back to my regular rom DHarvey black vista....

As for the device.exe problem, I'd experienced it once, dismissed it, and didn't have the problem again. That being said, I use ghetto's roms as a main rom when I'm not testing

Edit: LOL at that being a real site.

Its based off of 3.07, and the kitchen should be released anytime now...... maybe
