OMJ's 3.03, 3.09, M2D WM6.1 Custom Touch ROMs w/ User Customization! Updated 10/9/08

Back in my 6700 days, i purchased SPB Pocket Plus and have continued to use parts of it on my Touch. One of my favorite features is the Smart Scroll, which always seems preferable to the TouchFlo. There are instruction on the SPB forums for disabling the TouchFlo and applying the Smart Scroll dlls. Up till now, it has always worked perfectly; but with this rom, the scrolling in the emails doesn't work properly. The email will move, but only slightly, and usually in the wrong direction.

Before I reflash, I thought I would ask: Is there anything different about V3 that might impact third-party scrolling, specifically within messaging? Any additional apps that could be causing a conflict?

I can't connect to activesync for some reason.

I"ve been running the OMJ custom2 3.03.04 rom since 8/23 on my sprint touch. I have been pretty happy with it, but I have a problem now.

I want to upgrade to the latest OMJ Custom m2d rom. However, my phone won't connect to active sync. My phone says that the last active sync connection was on 9/3/08 yet I connect my phone to my windows computer everyday via USB to use the ICS.

How can I get my phone to reconnect to Activesync so that I can upgrade to the latest rom?

Currently: I have tried the following:

1. Repair activesync with setup.msi file no luck.
2 Logging into another User account on my windows laptop and trying to connect - no
3. on the phone checking the box under connections "synchronize this device using the following connections" this is wierd though in the box below it says 'USB see the apostrophe before the USB is that supposed to be there? How do I remove it? shouldn't it just be: USB

Here's some suggestions.
*** First rule of thumb, back up your files/contacts/etc... ***
1) Reinstall ActiveSync and see if that works, if not move to step 2
2) Install ActiveSync on a different laptop/computer and see if it works, if not move to step 3( if you do not have another computer/labtop then skip step 2 and move onto to step 3)
3) Hard Reset your phone. This should solve your problem. If not, go back to step 1 and repeat forever......JK

Someone get one of the Super Mods to threaten OMJ that if he stops cooking roms for the Vogue then he'll be BANNED from here or just use any reason like getting BANNED for not having a DONATION button.

I believe it will default to the last viewed account, but go into tools/options, and make sure the box at the bottom is checked.

are you going into bootloader mode when trying to flash? when u connect to your pc to flash, you should be in bootloader, and activesync will not show it connected.

but try going into settings/connections/usb, and check or unckeck the use advance network functionality option.

thanks for the reply. it always goes to that account no matter which account i saw last. The bottom box is checked but i noticed something while there. There is an * next to my my gmail account which I assume it means it's the default account. I looked everywhere to see how I can switch the default to my outlook but couldn't find any. i tried to go a step further and delete the gmail account but there is no way to delete it. i know i'm pulling an all nighter studying and i'm running on red bulls but even then, i dont think I'm that numb to not be able to find the delete option. what do you think?

one of few problems i had with manilla2d rom is scrolling. sometimes my message goes below the typing area of the keyboard.

also curious in the M2D Settings area, i see an option for Alarm Sounds, Play when set to Vibrate/Silent. My alarms dont sound off when vibrate/silent i think. i can recheck tomorrow. just wanted to double check with other here.

but the scrolling would be nice to get a fix, but the rom is too good to stop using
