I think I have another microsd at home, I'll try it. Would be weird given that one worked on your previous ROM release?

One more question, is it possible to change which player shows up on the main screen? ie replace the HTC audio manager with TCPMP or WMP when you click on the music icon
?

any update on the new release of Alltel ROM? I have it run in my phone, not to bad! but the only thing I want to know the Redio 42.30 not as new as Bell 42.50

one more thing, there is no Opera browser!!

Actually for bell music on the cube, in the registry i pointed the cube to another music player like wmp...but for some reason it wouldnt take my change. It kept complaining about jeodek not being a valid app, so i loaded a new esmertec java and pointed the registry to that instead of jeodek. It seemed to have worked... but i noticed it was a little sluggish...

then i accidently loaded google maps again, even though it was on the rom originally so i decided to uninstall it...when i did that, even the one in the rom was gone...so i loaded it again one last time...

To my surprise, after i did that... all my links started working and the links were all fast so i left it at that. I have been using this rom the way it is now for the past few days and everything is great...

Just as a side note, i usually got this error with the bell music when i was trying out manila 2d cabs on their own...

My quick fix was to install another java and point the reg files from jeodek to the new files...

I dont think so, I believe audio manager is hard coded in m2d.

unless it's proven to be a far superior rom, I'll be sticking to the 3.09 base

Hi there,

I ran OMJ's Verizon ROM and works great, except I'm having trouble getting the GPS to work. Here's my info:

ROM Version: 3.02.651.2
ROM Date: 4/23/08
Radio: 3.42.50
PRL Version: 51101
PRI Version: 1.37_002

I'm new at this so I played it safe and use OMJ's ROM that said it was specifically for Verizon. I noticed he had newer ones out there but wasn't sure so played it safe.

When opening the GPS Viewer app, it connts with COM4 and numbers scroll across the screen but it never finds/locks any satellites.

did u do these steps to get assisted GPS working?... otherwise it wont lock so well unless outside and then it could still take a while.
Gaurentee it will make verizon touch gps work wonderfully. just follow steps closely!

for running DMrouter.exe, i had to instead use Fred Task manager(http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm), and run the application through its Run command (and literally type in /DIAG for the args). Resco's Run and ##3424 method didnt work for me. Also i only saw the 2 USB ports in the portion when you need to add the 2 ports (their pic has more ports).

also make sure GPS registry settings afterwards are on in HLKM/Software/HTC/SUPL AGPS

GPSMode 4
ServerIP 66.174.95.132

hey just curious,
should the word guesser in the keyboard work when you are using it pretend in web browser, like typing something google or filling my username in java gmail app. i noticed it works only in certain apps but in other roms, remembered it prob worked in both.

also whats the icon below the 'write new mail message' icon, in the Mail 'tab'. pressedit and didnt do anything so got me thinking. ... i thought it was link to whole inbox maybe, but i see Inbox is link in bottom left corner.
and how do u go to the next mail message, i thought it was touching and holding the message and pulling it upwards, but that just brings up 'Tap here to launch TouchFLO'.

cant find anything else too unusual in the rom. this manilla rom is a wonderful treat.
