Doesn't make sense to me why it helps, but everytime I have issues w/ a new rom, I can usually correct it w/ a hard-reset.
Now, everytime I install a new rom, I hard-reset once after setup just to avoid the hassle of needing to do it later.

Hello, is this in reference to my issue?

I would have to say that the battery life with the new ROM is incredible. I fully charged last night and I'm a heavy user and as of now I still have 90% left. I've not had ANY of the problems listed so far.

I think this may have to do with the radio, too.

I mention this, because the only portion of the update that I have retained is the radio. After about 45 minutes, I flashed back to a custom rom and I too have noticed a perceptable difference in the amount of battery charge being used.

By this time of the day, I am usually down to between 25% and 35% and i am at 60%.

Best regards,

Is there anyway, or chance that i could put this rom on a Sprint Apache?

I would say no....but you can try if you want....it would be risky and could cause a brick

My battery life is actually much worse. I also flashed for the radio - then back to a custom rom - in 2 hours I lost 60% of my battery with minor use. I tried another rom - same thing. I did notice a sharp drop after I installed SPB Mobile shell - on both roms. So I uninstalled and am testing to see if that makes a diff. If so - back to UL for me i guess...

I still can not get GPS working. I have updated my PRL, tried with and without the Assisted GPS hacks, still no go. What other tricks can I try to get it working? Rick

hard-reset ... it seems to have cleared up a number of problems for at least two and perhaps three users in the past couple of hours.
