I didn't. Coulld my slow internet be caused by not hard resetting? I thought it automatically hard reset when you do the ROM upgrade.

I flashed the ROM when it was released. Will Hard Resetting now be helpful?

If you're noticing any strange issues then a hard reset will probably help. It is usually recommended to hard reset right after a flash anyway.
