Well I have tried it twice and all I can get is

ERROR (294) : INVALID VENDER ID

Anyone know what I should do??

You have to unlock your phone using Cokeman's 2.31 unlocker in order to use the Sprint update.

I know multiple people have upgraded their radios with verizon phones. Has anyone tried with a bell phone yet? Just wondering, as I'm very interested in this. I currently have the Altell radio installed with RLMCS's bell Rom. GPS can take a while and the signal level on the phone is pretty low, so any updates from people who have tired would be appreciated.

You have to call Verizon and get a new A-Key. Just tell them you need to reauthenticate your phone. Then soft reset, and you should be good.

Even if the Verizon word doesnt appear under the Start button? i remembered it always said verizon and when i try typing *228 the sprint voice comes up not the verizon female voice.

So, I've noticed that when I connect to the internet that sometimes it says "phone as modem" I'd never noticed this previously, and I see that some others have mentioned this as well. But haven't seen a defenative answer to if there is any cause for concern... ie is it really using the PAM profile to connect with just normal data and could you be charged as such. While I suppose the 100% answer won't come untill the bills come, but is there any concensus on this yet?
Obviously, I've done the regedit as a stopgap measure... but this seems like a pretty important flaw if what appears to be happening is happening.
other than that it seems good to me.

I've waited this long for an official release, so I'm still holding out hope that this means it will be soon. I'm thinking there's a chance that some of the minor problems that people are finding might be corrected in a final release and I don't want to install this twice. Am I alone in waiting?
