No, I think I was originally, though. But when I followed the instructions it must have triggered something internally and switched me back. But according to my device settings I'm on 1.27_002.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

I just told them I was messing around with some software and had to do a hard reset so I lost some settings. AFAIC we own the phone and can alter what's on the phone. It shouldn't be a big deal. I've called three times now in the last 2 months to get my phone back working.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

I've ran this update a while ago but recently I am having problems getting a lock with my GPS. On first boot up of the phone I get a lock almost instantly, but everytime I close apps like gps today and gpsviewer or waking the phone up from sleep I can no longer get a lock. It doesn't even detect sats. In order to get my GPS going again I have to soft reset, but the same thing happens all over again. Is there a fix for this or has anyone else been experiencing the same thing?

The current ROM I'm running is in my sig. This just recently started happening like 3 days ago. I've been running this ROM for more than 2 weeks.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

The best advise is, run PPST.exe from the Windows directory. Soft reset.
Go OUTSIDE, stand in an open place where you can see the sky in front of you.
Locks shouldn't take longer than 20 secs. All other tests for different roms should be performed at the same location for valid comparison.

I've tried it and so far so good. Will report if something else happens.

EDIT: the problem still persist! and it's killing me to keep re-running the ppst or soft resetting.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

If problem still persists, I would say that unfortunately there may be some sort of incompatibility with your current rom.
I am using OMJ's without a single issue so far, radio is also 3.37.15 like yours.
Worth giving a try:

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

lets say you ran the PPST (new 2.xx one) and then flashed a ROM. you shouldnt have to reinstall PPSt again because its on the radio side, correct?
