OMJ, I tried the EPST from the sprint, you posted. Still no Rev A option available. Everything else works fine. V3 is out already. Thanks for including diamond keyboard. Another addition I made was S3 cube. Vista cube dont work.
I went to Niagara falls today. GPS was on. It consumed battery almost same speed perhaps little faster, as the charger |

not sure if i did something wrong but i just flashed the v3 for sprint and my phone reboots 15 secs after everything loads. i am flashing with the java.v2 now but want to know if anyone else had issues with v3
oh and can some one tell me how to setup the gps and get rid of that dummy address on the today screen update well it looks like using v2 did no good still reboots about 15 sec after everything loads. Last edited by Tarin It Up; 05-29-2008 at 09:43 PM. |

Hey OMJ,
I hope u recieve this in due time and can work on this issue. I've been researching the whole battery issue with the leaked rom from sprint. In your Sprint version i have searched and found out that the issue is in there too. However Ive tried your bell, verizon, alltell roms and they show no issues. Im not exactly sure what it is thats draining the battery, but over the past week, ive tried those roms, and ive flashed the sprint rom 4-6 times so that I know its a fresh install without any messed up settings. I've ran system checks but i cant seem to find out the issue. I have a bell touch, and ive installed that now so thats great that u created one, and thanks lot for that. Ive been using it all day since 10:30 am and Im experiencing NO battery issues. I hope that since you have more experience with the roms (you did create them), maybe you could find out what the issue is. Whether its a program, registry, process, or an intermittent problem, because lets not forget, it IS the TEST rom. Anyways, just for those experiencing the same issue. My results show that the other roms (everyone except sprint) last 4-5X longer in terms of battery life. Where the sprint rom was giving me approx 14 hours of battery life without ANY usage. The other roms are giving me 2 days, with moderate usage. I hope these help you guys out, and hope that we can get to the bottom of this issue. Thanks again all, and especially OMJ

Re: OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM w/ UC, GPS, REV A! Updated 5/16/08
I need a little help. I've followed this thread to the letter and everything is working great, GPS, Phone, Internet, all utilities, everything......except
My camera I can take pictures and video and the counter is decreasing but sometimes the file shows up as a black square with an "X" and when I try to access it, it states that the file is not a valid JPEG. Or, there is no file at all. This does this on pictures and video and since i've upgraded mine and my wifes phones with the same ROM, we both have the same issue. Camera album comes up fine and after sync, all my previous pictures are there but nothing new will save but the counter is decreasing. I looked in the book and correct me if i'm wrong but all i have to do is click the camera button as the shutter and just wait for the preview to go back to camera mode and the picture should be saved....right? Any ideas? I looked or at least tried to look for an answer but there are tons of threads so if there is something out there, can someone lead the way please? Thanks. |
