Just click on gpsviewer and go to com port. I find in my area com port #4 works the best for me and i get between 5 to 7 satellites. After you select your com port that has working satellites click on "Open GPS". Next go to your GPS program (i use TomTom myself and it works great) and you should have an immediate lock. If not give it a few seconds and it should pick up the satellites.
