i really like the rom so far, but i have a question. in the original sprint rom, on the today homepage there was soft button in the upper right that told you what programs were running and the % of the phone being used. now the upper right is a battery meter, anyone know how to get the original button back? or at least change the settings so when an X is clicked, the program closes instead of running in the background? thanks.

Internet Sharing Again...
Well, I had OMJ's latest version with Sprint installed running on Verizon and ICS would not work. Would ask to sign up for a tethering plan. Then I went back to the OMJ Alltel v2 ROM and now it works fine again. Any idea OMJ as to what can cause it in the new Sprint ROM OEM that you have or anything that can be done to fix that in the new one? I would love to go back to the latest.

not to break balls, so far I love it (fastest GPS I have ever had). Is anyone noticing the phone dialer popping up after closing a program? I searched in this thread but didn't see it (sorry if it's there)...

Go into the registry:
hklm>software>microsoft>shell... change showtitlebarclock to 0 or 2

Has anyone had problems tethering verizon with this rom? I used to be able to tether altell and vista710 roms. Now i get redirected to a VZW proxy page that says you must pay for broadband access?? strange. first time I have had that problem.

so with this new updated rom...do i still have to start gps viewer first?
or just go with google or gps today...

I get the same thing. I hard reset and nothing. Then reinstalled Sprint 3.02 and OMJ-OEM-Generic and it works the first time (sometimes) but then it stops and you get redirected as soon as you soft-reset.

I went back to the Alltel OMJ 2 and that worked. I think it has to do either with the Internet sharing module included in the Sprint release or the Network connection configuration (Sprint Data Network....)

However it would be great if someone could figure it out.

Hey OMJ I have 2 questions. Which HTC home 2.1 are you using because the one I tried to install on the leaked rom keeps freezing up. Also I like the VistaHide Battery Guage you use in your ROM opposed to the others that I have seen with the funny raindow.

so if I have this right, you're a Alltel user and you're currently running the Official Alltel new rom?

To flash a custom rom, you must be unlocked, and if you;re wanting to flash a newer rom (like one based from the leaked sprint) you must use the 2.31 unlocker....then you can flash a custom rom.

Also I have noticed the cell reception with the ALLTEL rom is better but no GPS.. now with the Sprint ROM cell reception is below average and GPS wrks flawlessly.

Also could you make your custom one have the OEM HTC startup screen instead of the PPCKitchen dude??

well 1st off, I did not incorporate any regedits or addtl apps into this custom Alltel rom.

-I'll have to look into the phone codes
-gps was initially slow to lock, but I just tested again, workin fine, I always use gps viewer 1st though
-I'm using PRL 60612, this rom will not change your PRL.

you still have the chef? I could have sworn I added the HTC stocksplash....actually I know I did, cuz the rom i was testing b4 this Alltel was the leaked sprint that had the HTC splash w/ TEST only splash....now I have just the HTC splash.

have you tried GPS viewer?

I always use gps viewer, but thats just my habit.....it shouldnt be nessacary.
