I am also with bell, and already bricked one phone, Bell was nice to replace with a new one, although I could have reflashed with custom ROM to make it work. My question is that after flashing with sprint rom, did you have to change the browser setting to use bell server or you are using sprint server for internet? I was going to flash the java version of sprint, but now will wait for bell rom. Also I could not finish the unlock process, after running the utility I came across 3 color bands and nothing happened after that. I even disconnected and replugged the USB cable.
I was not able set up VOIP in the stock rom, after intalling voipwm6. Even the fring only worked oneway. Did you tried voip in wm6.1?

Question from a rookie:

I've successfully unlocked, run the original leaked ROM without allowing the customization and installed OMJ's WM 6.1 Custom Verizon ROM.

My question is, when I'm installing OMJ's ROM do I let the customization run after aligning the screen and entering the date and time?

OMJ, I am a bell user and I flashed 37.15 radio and your v.2 rom released a week ago or so, everything is working great except the gps sometimes takes awhile to work, no big problem.

2 questions for you if you could answer, should I flash the bell rom when you have it ready to go, I think I am ok with what I got and I find no reason to flash another rom right now. and is there any improvements on the gps side, I am pretty sure someone is going to get the drivers perfect for the gps soon enough, just have to wait I guess.

Is there any way to get SRS WOW HD to work again ? I tried searching I couldn't get any results

I have been trying to add Touch Pal on to my touch for my keyboard, and after trying to install it several times.....it never shows up as a keyboard that you can select.....does anyone have any ideas...thanks

You need to install the one for wm6.1, TouchPal6.1.cab. Works fine for me...

yes, it is the latest....the verizonv2 was old, based on the alltel, I have removed it.

no, there is nothing u need to set for internet....I am a Sprint user but I test each rom I build, currently still using the custom Verizon.....each rom, no matter which carrier it's for, internet, phone, email etc works.....only carrier specific apps (sprint tv, etc) may not work.

the 3 colored screen is the bootloader, which is where u need to be to flash a custom rom....press & hold power+camera+soft reset. go back into bootloader & check your version.

it doesnt matter, if u dont have UC setup, it wont do anything but reset.

gps & drivers will be identical......there will be little difference, more visual than anything.

You need to install the 6.1 version....

u need to activate it settings/system/task manager....also turn off battery in quickmenu setting.

Go to Task Manager under System and select the Button tab at the bottom. That is where you select how the X button works. Hope this helps!
