There is something wrong with the camera OMJ. Before, with your old ROM without GPS and such it was great and fast like the original oem rom. But with this one now (either sprint or bell, same thing I've used both), when there isn't enough light, the cam is slow and low in FPS, maybe around 5 fps. But when I point it towards light, either inside or outside, it's fast again around 40 fps. As soon as I move away from the light it goes down to 20 fps let's say and then to 5 again let's say. How come? Any regedit tweak ? Anyone else experiencing this?

FOR THOSE OF YOU USING THE FULL CUSTOM VERIZON ROM. and the Sprint leaked radio. I have two complete days with out soft resetting and getting lock with in 30 seconds. I also have 5 to 7 sats outdoors and 3 to 4 indoors. This is what I have done.

First Make Sure your Gps setting is changed from 911 to Location.

Second going into OMJ advanced Config(there is an icon for this) and turn Assisted GPS to Disabled. I believe this is what was causing my satelites to bounce for ten minutes before lock.

Third, Remove that GPSTODAY PLUGin and never reinstall again. I dont know why but this would always cause me to have to softstart every time i need to use GPS after the phone went into hibernation. If someone could explain why i would appreciate becuase i liked the program.

Fourth, I seemed to get faster lock by changing the gps software to port 2.

Fifth, Hopefully your last Soft Reset due to GPS FAilure :-).

** use GpsViewer switch to port 2 and open Gps. Select program of choice.
I have been using google maps and livesearch that are on this rom.

If this helps anyone let me know.

Well I tried your settings and info. Anecdotal so far ... but in the home office I NEVER so much as sniffed a Sat's existence indoors before. Now I see a screen full in GPSViewer. Still no locks - but I dont even get decent CELL signal in this room. Will test on the way to work in the later a.m.

More to follow ... looks promising.

There is something not right with the Phone app. When I type a contact's name and the name shows up... but when I try to use the left/right keys to go from contacts' home/cell/work phone numbers the phone app crashes completely... :(

How did you get GPS to use port 2? When I try to change it in GPSViewer a message pops up and says something like Port not available. I am on Verizon and so far have not had any issues with crashes or other difficulties using OMJs Full custom for Verizon with the latest Radio 3.37.15.

Sputnikk, When the gpsviewer is full as you mentioned above and they satellites are not jumping around, for some reason the gpsviewer wont always display a lock but it seems to be there when i go into google maps and select use gps it forces the lock. Then I shut down the gps viewer (uses alot of battery). Maybe when googlemaps initiate the gps when you select 'use gps' from the options causes a lock to occur faster.

I've been using GPSTODAY for a long while now. Havent experienced the issues you described. I've had fast locks coming out of hibernation, even indoors.
