I just flashed to this ROM a few days ago and ever since I have been getting awful battery life. Anything I should know about?

Make sure also that all GPS functions are turned off in settings phone location.. and also settings GPS to uncheck manage gps automatically.

HI to all,
I'm trying to understand what all this mean! (ROM) stuff. anyway, I have a new phone from Verizon (XV6900) HTC TOUCH, what does this update will add to my phone that I don't have? like GPS? I know foe sure that I don't have GPS hardware in my phone!
I'm looking to add JAVA to my phone but I'm not sure what can I do to haave this software running in my phone.

any one can help out with some informtion I will be thankful..

You do have GPS hardware in phone. It is not enabled. These Roms will enable the GPS feature, Give you Rev A(faster Data Connection) and WM 6.1. READ all the info in the Vogue update forum before considering making changes. Be aware OFFICIAL ROM updates are coming,When? soon or maybe not but they are coming so if you are not comfortable doing it yourself wait. There are many people here that will help you and answer any questions. I am little more then a newbie myself but there are many real GEEKS here and most are genuinely interested in helping. Again READ and ask and you will do fine

thanks a lot for the info. I do beleive you! I don't want to start talking about verizon how they disable eveything that you can make more money of. anyway, I did ask verizon guy when I did buy my phone about if there is any GPS hardware in the phone but he told me that verizon HTC touch it does not have the hardware for it.
I will love to update but what is the steps do I need to do ? is there any tutorial or how-to?
and if I do wait for the new update, do you thing verizon will enable the GPS for this phone? I don't think so..

** Note ** if I do this update I will able make any phone calls after that?

I keep losing data provisioning...now IOTA runs but gives error 1012. CAnnot tether laptop either. However, I can access the Internet from the Touch when it is ActiveSynch'ed to another laptop w/Internet connection.
This after working great for a week or so...Advice, OMJ?

Hey all. This is my first post and I'm a relative newb, but I've spent days and days reading posts, though I'm still confused. Forgive me if these questions are answered elsewhere... there's a lot of stuff up here!

First, I have a Verizon xv6900.
I unlocked with imcokeman's 2.31, flashed with a sprint rom to upgrade and then used OMJ's Verizon OEM GPS ROM and FREAKED out when i tried to call and started getting the "unable to authenticate" message. I then spent more time here reading more and the next day was able to get Verizon to get me a knew A-Key (it was about 1am when I hit that bump and their systems were down).

I have been able to get the GPS to locate me on Google Maps, but when I've used Window's Live Search it puts me in the middle of the mountains in Colorado... That would be lovely except I'm in Tucson, AZ! :) Anyone know why this is happening? I love Live Search and would really like to get it working right. Also I'll install some other GPS things and let ya'll know how they're working..

Last, I wrote down the A-Key the support staff gave me as they were giving it to me, even though she requested I put it "directly into the phone." When I asked if they could email it to me she was very clear that I needed to just put it directly into the phone and that if I did a hard reset I'd likely need to get another one from them. If I still have the other one they gave me, will it work if I end up needing one in the future? I've been thinking about tinkering more with other roms like 3.5 and installing OMJs custom Verizon version, but I don't feel comfortable calling Verizon again and again to get new A-Keys.
