thank you very much for your feedback, I have htc touch from verizon too, and I just got my new A-key too from verizon after iPhone theme that make my phone act really bad and I had to restor it. I had to be with them for over 2 hours, with more than 10 times, from one person to another and ask me whey and how thats happen!

is there any way to backup my information (phone nuber + keys) for future use?

thanks for the info. but it does look like only GSM phones will have more banfet of this, I mean verizon like me yes we can do it and it will unlock our phone but we have to call verizon and ask for new activation and new key..

No I have Sprint (CDMA like Verizon). I was with Verizon until end of Feb and flashed my Apache (VX6700) many times successfully and never had to call to activate There are many Verizon Touch users here who have flashed these ROMS

this is good news! but how did you add your phone number to your cellphone after you did the custom update? because I have did resat my new phone once and I had to call Verizon so they can make my phone work again.

I don't know what you are talking about I never had to call Verizon to reactivate my phone have you tried *228 after flashing?

I flashed the Sprint Java version and I don't see Opera Browser.

I did not know what *228 for! its for update the phone service? so, I can update my phone with the custom update (OMJ's) and then use *228 to update my service?

PS: as I can see you have Sprint Carrier for your phone.

Yes *228 updates phone Not sure if that is what u need but worth a try. Make sure you use the verizon ROM when you update

but where is the steps? any body with verizon can post what the steps do we do to make this work?
