Not exactly what I'm saying. Actually there is no way to adjust brightness. Even if I go to start-> settings-> system-> power it doesn't work. Sliders are locked.

I just uninstalled HTC Home and now the sliders are working again. Unfortunately I really like the HTC Home interface for have quick access to apps, email, phone contacts, etc. Without it the phone just seems like a vanilla pda like my old ipaq or dell. What do you use?

Re: JD's Roms

JD, I really appreciate these ROMs and testing is a pleasure, but can we get a little UC love here please?

This really helps in flashing, configuring and testing.

Thanks!

Re: JD's Roms

I think UC is counter-intuitive to JD's endgame....it'll just make diagnosing which problems are ROM-related that much more difficult (read: impossible)

Re: JD's Roms

just flashed the new test rom:
restored contacts, sms/email, calander events with no problem,
brightness works for me,
sprint navigation works fine, faster first time lock indoors than official rom did outdoors.
beejiveIM works,
everything is fast,
my only complaint right now is that the internet is still slower than a parked car.. is there anyway i can run a sprint ppst.exe or something to improve this? it says i have good signal and Ev but its still really slow and always has problems connecting where the official rom would usually connect fast no problem.
