Re: JD's Roms

hey jakdillard,
great 7-25 rom, just curious, is there a way to set the default keyboard like a reg setting or something?
i could have sworn other roms save this info so it comes up everytime. I switch to the regular Keyboard everytime and its not too responsive as it may take 5seconds to pull up the keyboard switcher. i think thats the only thing i found so far that i would like to figure out how to make more responsive/and set the default keyboard.

Thanks for any info!

Re: JD's Roms

gotcha i see that hidden away in QuickMenu now, just thought QuickMenu was to access things quickly, didnt know it added functionality. seems to point at the Input Method settings screen which didnt set it permanently. think SIP Change might work better.

Where is this option hiding? I have QuickMenu, but can't see anything related to the "default" keyboard.

i totally missed it too, cause you kinda skip over the recent/favorates/quickmenu area. once you get the Quickmenu, and inside the popup, one of the options is Quickmenu (orange icon).... then SIP is there. but setting it there didnt work for me after a softreset, went back to old keyboard. had to use SIP Change prog

Re: JD's Roms

I am looking forward to the new ROM, I am consistently having issues with the touch screen not functioning correctly and freezing. 7-25 has not been my friend. :P

I too have had daily episodes of freezing. It is not linked to anything in particular and has happened when running several different apps. When I have been able to check my memory it is fine with only about 33% being used at the time of the event.

I don't think this is a default SIP selector, but if it is, it doesn't work :P
