Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch
I think it was after you flashed the alltel rom the phone reboots and you align your screen then it pops up a box saying running customizations in 3 seconds. That's when you were supposed to press the reset button.

Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch
Quick question, I've loaded the new Altell Rom and JD's Rom and everything seems to be working. My question is, for me to tether unlimited data to my laptop without Sprint knowing, do I need to go back and delete this file again:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] "Extension"="rilphone.dll" Or does installing a new ROM not affect it? Thanks! |

I couldn't find that key when I installed JD's rom in order to delete it. Is it somewhere else in this particular rom?

On the alltel ROM, mine do not work either, although the ##33284 and press SEND did just work

Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch
im using JD's 6.1 rom, and everything was working fine. For some reason my GPS will not work anymore. Double checked everything, but no matter what program i use, it will not work. Google maps says that the GPS receiver is not responding.
My location is of course set to "on" and GPS configured for port 4 and b/r of 4800. At this point I really dont care until we get a stable working version. Also for some reason with the new rom, the phone program will not work. Ill keep pressing the talk button, and nothing happens, and a soft reset fixes it. I even stopped cprog.exe and of course the OS re-activated it but it still didnt work. I know there aren't fixes yet, but just reporting bugs. |

Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch
Hi Guys,
I have a typical problem.I have a Sprint phone working on Reliance network in India(after some Super CIDing and some other things as Reliance like other carriers does not allow outside phones). Will this phone still count as a sprint phones for ROM purposes (I am using a OMJ 6.1 fully loaded one and love it absolutely). Dont want to take chances bricking the phone with the new bootloader. Please advise if it is safe for me and will I have to configure RELIANCE settings once again manually. Is it safe to delete Sprint MIP settings and use customised Reliance settings with the new GPS Roms. Thanks Guys I love this site. |
