ok ImCoKeMan, im doin it EXACTLY as the instructions....and my version is still 2.00....what am i doing wrong? the only thing i can think of its not connecting to activesync like the instructions say. like when i get to the screen where its about to do its thing and the progress bar shows up on my phone, next to "Image Version:" its blank.....what am i doing wrong?

ok, well on the instructions on the read me file, it shows the previous image on the update image box. i've done this like 9 times. when i load the bootloader again, and it tells me my spl, it still reads as 2.00. how do i find out what spl i have without having to reload the bootloader?

All of these questions you are asking have been answered many times, but this is because you need to have a new OS/radio for the new bootloader

im sorry man, if i wasnt such a newbie to this stuff, trust me, i wouldnt ask, im still tryin to learn the lingo and the overall methodology behind it all. so install a new os/radio? that will help my sleep button situation?

I thought I read somewhere in all these post that flashing to leaked sprint rom for example would relock vogue. I am using 2.31 unlocker want to relock and I know leaked sprint had bootloader in it however when I try to reflash it does not change bootloader. it still has spl-2.31.Coke CPLD-3 on the bootloader. can someone please confirm if thiss will relock device

sho0Z I first flash the leaked sprint rom to get the new radio before this my touch was factory I did not want to do the altel radio and I am glad I did not with all the issues and bricking going on then I flashed the 2.31 bootloader which you can download from here ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/ImCoKeMaN/Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe
or http://rapidshare.com/files/113951076/Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe connect to activesync with device and run .bat file follow everything on the screen to the T and all will go well. |
