alright im pulling my hair out, from what i have read (over and over and over) again, this should just work....
I have tried what feels like a million times to get to 2.31.CoKe and still only get 2.00.CoKe....also don't tell me to re-read it...I have, I feel that there is something missing here or there is something different Im supposed to do

If you are getting the 2.00 you are not following all the steps. The key is unplug and plug back in when prompted don't worry about losing active sync. Just follow the directions. If you are hung in the bootloader flash back to carriers shipped ROM and start over.

How do I know if it's successful at unlocking? I followed all the directions, and at the end before "exitbl" part it asks to press any key to continue it looks like it's going to relock?

My Sprint Touch is stuck at the initial WinMo 6.1 Welcome screen until disabling USB connection in Activesync and after exiting the Unlock CMD line it then goes to "tap screen to continue". It then continues with regular WinMo 6.1 set up, then does Automatic Sprint CAB customizations. I've tried soft resetting before Sprint customizations began to prevent Sprint CAB's from loading, but it makes no difference.

Does look like it did anything but a basic hard reset. I've tried installing Android, but keep getting "Failed to Mount" errors. So I'm assuming my Touch is not unlocked?

What am I doing wrong? (Yes, I've done the unplug and replug the USB connection when prompted)
*EDIT - did the Power + Camera + Reset and the Rainbow screen shows 2.31 Coke. Yay! It's unlocked. But I still can't get Android to install. Keep getting "Failed to Mount" errors during installation.

*EDIT - Nevermind. I did the NAND install and it worked.

I inadvertintly installed the 0.41 ver instead of the 2.31 ver, and I have some strange behavior with some of the ROMs (spontaneous reboots, etc). Is there a way to upgrade from 0.41 to 2.31? I tried using the RUU to flash the 2.31 ROM from the install exe (extracting it and renaming to RUU_signed.nbh), which seemed to work, but when I restart the phone and enter the bootloader mode again it still says 0.41.

Flash back to stock and then run the 2.31 unlocker program again. Should work OK for you.

Doesn't work for me. I get error 262 about 29 percent of the way through the upgrade to the stock ROM. I assumed it was because the .40 unlocker rom wasn't overwritable.

I tried installing the .40 unlocker rom over the .41 by expanding the .exe and using RUUUpdate to install the .nbh. It seems to run (a little too quickly), but when I go back into the bootload, it's still .41.

I ended up flashing to a custom WM ROM, which let me establish an Activesync connection, so then I could run the full .40 install from windows, which worked.

I ran this unlocker on a Vogue (Sprint) and assumed I had sucessfully unlocked it, although I didn't check to verify the bootloader screen showed 2.31 after running it.

Next I tried to install Android to NAND using the RUU but kept getting the 262 Update Error. I then tried running bootloader and installing Android directly from the androidinstall.tar file on the SD card. That also seemed to go nowhere, so I called it a day. But the next day, after powering on the phone and setting it aside for a few minutes, I returned to find it had booted into Android and everything on it was working.

I now want to flash back to Windows Mobile but am getting the 262 error again when using the RUU. When trying to flash directly from a Windows Mobile NBH file on the SD card, the bootloader screen goes immediately to "Initializing ...", but just hangs there forever.

The bootlader screen shows SPL-2.01.0000, which I assume means it's not unlocked, right? But if this Vogue is not unlocked, how was I able to install Android on it? Is there a way to get Windows Mobile back onto this phone, or is it now flashed to Android forever? I've tried running the Unlocker again, but it requires an Active Sync connection, which I can't establish with Android. Thanks for any suggestions.

I am trying to install android on my HTC touch (MP6900) found here:

To install andriod, I needed to unlock the phone. My carrier is bell mobile and when I originally started I had the 0.36 SPL. I easily unlocked it using the 0.41 Coke.

However, to install andiod, it said I needed the 3.37.xx or better radio. My phone had a really old version 1.x something. I went to http://www.htc.com/us/support/touch-bell/downloads/ and download and tried to install which would have givin me 3.42 radio.

The install started fine, however got a Command Error (at 11%) and Communication Error (31%). I tried the recover procedure several times but always dies at 11 or 31 percent.

Now my phone is always stuck at the bootloader (0.41 coke).

Anyone have any idea how I can recover?
