Re: OMJ WM6.1 Custom ROM
wow, that's definately not the case guys. yes charging the phone while the screen is off helps it charge quicker but once it reaches its full mark it (once the green light comes and stays on), it will continue using the charger as a source of power until you take the phone off of it. think of the green light to be an indicator that your touch is done "charging" but its still relying on the charger to keep it powered. now when the phone is relying on the battery for power it will blink green instead of staying constantly lit. and the brown light shows that the battery is being charged. basically my point is that charging the phone an then taking it off the charger to charge it later is definately pointless lol, just leave it on the charger until you leave for work, trust me

I've never seen that problem.... they're for programming/provisioning the phone, I wouldn't mess with them if you don't need to make a change. just follow this rule....look but don't touch, lol

Re: OMJ WM6.1 Custom ROM
I did a little research and found that this is a common problem with the OEM rom and without reflashing, resetting the phone is the only option and that only works for about a week or so.
I'm very happy to report that your rom does in fact fix the problem. I'm not sure what in the rom fixes it but my wifes phone is working properly now. |

Re: OMJ WM6.1 Custom ROM
Hey OMJ... I can't get Windows Live to push email with your rom. I have tried flashing it straight from download and I tried removing Windows Live from the rom and reflashing. Then installing it from a cab... Ive tried versions 31.2600, 32.2100, 33.0600, and 34.0800 with no luck from any of them. I did a hard reset before installing each cab so I knew the previous was completely gone. I have read a few threads on XDA about it not working on some cabs and working on others. It seems to work on the OEM Sprint rom with 6.1 and JD's old rom. It works on your rom when I first set it up, but won't work after a soft reset. It looks like Windows Live would automatically connect data on a reset and that doesn't seem to be the case with your rom.
Any idea why it wouldn't be working? Anyone else having this issue with the v6 rom? It may not be a problem with your rom. I figured I would ask before trying anything else. I really like your v6 rom. Especially with the working phone codes. I just wish Windows Live would push email. Last edited by Pitchblack98; 03-14-2008 at 12:32 PM. |

Re: OMJ WM6.1 Custom ROM
I tried set it up once on v6, pretty much the same results as yours. I don't really use that account, so I didn't look into it.....actually the only reason I setup the account on live was for that zune giveaway they had, where you had to send an email........but I couldn't get it to send. I'm not sure what it could be.
