to remove QM, click start/quickmenu/exit...choose yes...it wont start up next boot.

aight, check THIS crap out... so last night i was messin around with my phone an realized that i havent reset it in like 2 days.. and it was running jus a tad bit slower than usual right.. so i remember the well known saying "a soft reset a day, keeps the headaches away" and i decided to soft reset my phone like i normally do on occasion. an once the phone booted back up i realized that it gave me that "tap screen to begin" notice, and im like..get the f*** outta here.. i know it didnt just do what i think it did........... welp, yeah- it did.. some how my freakin phone did a hard reset off of a simple soft reset <please dont ask me any dumb questions like, did you do anything different, no all i did was soft reset it the NORMAL way just like any person who has a decent amount of knowledge with ppc's, so dont insult my intelligence> anyway i noticed though once it booted itself back up with the customizations, it had a few programs that were dubbed.. meaning i had a contacts and a contacts (1), along with messaging, and a few other apps.. not to mention i couldnt delete or remove the extra ones.. luckily i had the opportunity to back up my info before doing a real hard reset on myphone.. so my big finale of a question is.. WHAT THE FREAK IS THAT ALL ABOUT!?! an has anyone else experienced that? or was my phone jus ticked off that i stopped playing with it last night to mess around with my gf

I have done that over and over, but it still opens up every time :-\

Anyone running OMJ's ROM that is having problems with alarms? I had two alarms set this morning and they simply did not go off at all. Any ideas?

it's still under investigation, its really hard to say why it did what it did as it happened completely randomly, has anyone else experience that?

also, if you all could, if any of you have the esmeretec java an using opera mini with it, try browsing around facebook for a while an let me know if it freezes on you. i've noticed that any other website runs fine except facebook, it will freeze quickly after like a page or two of surfing; if anyone of you could test this out for yourselves and let me know if you are also having this issue i would greatly appreciate it

I've had this happen once on an earlier version... I think it was v5. My phone did some sort of weird soft reset that was almost like a hard reset. Everything went back to where it was like brand new, but all programs were still installed. Only thing was... you couldn't use them. Like you said all icons, contacts, etc. were dubbed.

Great ROM! Thank you for all your efforts! I did notice one weird thing, if I rebuild your ROM after removing some of the OEM, DeviceLock would always break as in the control app would would no longer be in Settings. The latest version is here btw (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=305402) Thank you for your time!
