Yeah, luckily I got out of my SERO account a few years ago and got into a regular consumer Friends and Family plan (but no longer offered anymore). Essentially the same as SERO in terms of cost but much more flexible in terms of upgrades.

Who says you can't switch your own company discount later on??
Once the account or upgrade is all set up, just call Sprint and have them apply your corporated discount instead.

Edit: I guess I'm the only one on PPCgeeks that thinks this is a good deal. IMO much easier than trying to convince Sprint to replace your TP (as in the other threads)... and you get to keep your old TP to sell later so you actually can make money on the upgrade.

I followed those threads and tried this 3days ago.
recieved 2 emails since, last one telling me:
"You should expect to be contacted within 3 business days advising you on the status of your order"

So we will see, I will give you guys update whatever,happens, I guess after a few more days.
I know this can take up to a week or more..

Just a timeline FYI.

I ordered mine on Monday Nov 23rd from the old site (same plan, same number, just an upgrade to a TP2 with 2 yr)

Got confirmation email on Mon, Nov 30 (had Thankgiving weekend in between)
The next day I noticed my "fulfilmment date" on Sprint got changed to Dec. 1, 2011
Got Shipping email on Dec 2. (2nd Day air shipping)

Scheduled to receive something from UPS today.

The new link looks almost identical to the old one, so it's worth a shot. (The lack of TP2 on a the upgrade page hopefully might just be short on inventory.)

Key Points:
- Used for only 1 week
- Still in referb packaging
- Minimal usage
- Latest generation revision
- has been tested to at least meet or exceed sprint specifications
- has been thoroughly tested to be free of defects (by many people)
- handled mostly by sprint and their repair techs - so that means it's been babied all along!
- my 8th touchpro from sprint, # 1-7 just didn't make the cut with me

I just checked the site. Neither the Touch Pro or the Touch Pro 2 are offered in the "upgrade" section.
