Re: Does GPS ever just 'go bad'?
Replacing the bin files and turning off QuickGPS has not worked for me. About the only radio that is working w/GPS is the Sprint 1.12.34F. Any other ideas?

Re: Does GPS ever just 'go bad'?
Did you replace it in Both Directories?
P.S. One other thing I did is I made sure the file had a current date on it. Since some stuff is date sensitive. But I'm not sure that mattered.

Replace xtra.bin file in \Windows and \Temp with the one attached in this thread and soft reset. |

Re: Does GPS ever just 'go bad'?
Haven't had any issues with this, but when I checked QuickGPS the last file it had downloaded was on 10/27, a day or so before the majority of these problems came to light. I'm running NRG 'Photon' build 23081 from 10/25, with Sprint's 1.12.34F radio, PRL 60655, PRI 2.34_003. Google Maps hasn't so much as hiccuped in the past couple days, and I would know as I use my phone extensively for work-related travel.

I have experienced the same GPS locking reset problem for the pass few days. Flashing a new Radio fixed the problem for me. No hard reset was needed.
