I did mine for Verizon, but I came over from Alltel. When Asurion tried to get me into another TP, I asked which one and they told me the model. I looked it up and it only had 256Mb of RAM. I informed Asurian that my device from Alltel came stock with 288Mb of ram and nothing they were offering me was comparable. After being transferred to a tier 2 and then tier 3 manager, I was given the TP2 as my replacement.

@erick. i lost my 6800. it was my 2nd 6800 from them and both of them froze alot... email ecare? how do i do that? is it under 'contact us' on phoneclaim.com?

i came from alltel too. i will try and email them and speak to a mngr. the 6800 they want to send me has been discontinued a long time now... would like a tp2, but a tp1 would work fine for me.

Don't waist your time emailing them. Call them, and whatever you do, don't take no or any other sub-par phone for replacement. If the CSR for Asurion tells you "Well sir all I can do is offer a comparable TP1" tell them you want to escalate the call to their manager, and if that one gives you a hard time, escalate it above that manager. Like I said it took me getting to a tier 3 manager to get my phone replaced.

i have no idea what to tell them when they say 'sir u can only get a 6800 which is the same fone u lost'. only thing i can think of is sayin ' i dont want another 1 of the old a$$ fones'. lol

i am def goin to talk to a mngr n the AM tho. i jus have to think of a good reason y they should send me a tp1 or tp2 for the mogul/6800 i lost when they supposedly have 6800s in stock
