With all the Touch Pros they'be received from US, you know they're going to refurb 'em and give 'em to you unluckies who haven't gotten your TP2. ahahahahAHAHAHA

Yeah I called yesterday after going to a Sprint store. I talked to a rep and told him I was gonna have to pay 100 so why not get a new phone.. Told him I had a TP and for once I broke it instead of it dying and finally have someone admits that Asurion is replacing TP1's with TP2's. He tells me just when you call Asurion tell them about your multiple returns and they should send you a TP2

When they asked me if it was okay to send out a TP1 I jumped, calmly told them my probs and mulitiple warranty returns.

Then I told them a Sprint rep told me I could get a TP2 for my TP1

Put me on with a escalation specialist and he offers me a Snap, Treo Pro or Intrepid.

WHAT AM I AN A$$HOLE?? I tried to calmly explain to him that I know my butt from a hole in the ground and that these are not acceptable, comprable replacements.

He wouldn't budge.

Then when I say okay I have to have a phone in the next few days, send me the TP1, he tells me he can't charge deductible to my account. Then I call him out again and he says he can charge to the account (I see the option is available now)

They're effing liars!!


I didn't close my claim, so should I call back and demand a TP2? They were really shook when I said a Sprint rep told me that. Why do they try to screw us so hard?

I mean they have given out a large number of TP2s in the last couple weeks. I'm sure that this offer would have lasted for a long time. They most likely gave out more then they should have, so they probally have caught on to this "upgrade" people are trying to do.

To the lucky 1% of people. I ended up replacing my phone with another TP1 at an ASC and went from ESRP to TEP in hopes this comes up again. Heck, I'd be willing to pay a small fee to someone who could pull it off.

it's over for now...you will only get another tp unless they do not have them in stock but as of right now they do. they caught on and it was good while it lasted.

well, the a holes at asurion gave me a busted touch pro 1. sucks for me. i got one with a yellowed screen.
