Had some problems with My touch pro that could not be fix by a sprint Tech (D-bag). They tried to sell me a Moment and told me that the TP is discontinued. I'm not a Samsung fan. So I told them to replace it with a TP2. But they were not able to because the still had Touch Pros in stock at their main Hub.
The Sprint manager told me to come back at the end of December if I wanted to have my Touch Pro replaced with The Touch pro 2.

So be sure to wait until January 2010 to brick your Touch Pro!:mrgreen:

Anyone know if Asurion gives warranties for their replacement phones?
I don't have TEP or warranty but I paid the $100 deductible back in March for a replacement TP so it's been under 1yr since my replacement.

If it's a Sprint phone, the warranty applies from when the phone was activated (at least the last time I checked, which was about 4 months ago). So you could take it in to Sprint and they should take care of it.

Asurion will cover their replacement for up to 1 year regardless of when the phone was activated. You should also call them to verify so you have a definite answer from them.

Does asurion cover whatever device I have active on my account? I opened my verizon account with a curve but I'm using a TP on it now. How does that work exactly.

They will cover your current device and doesn't matter what you had when you signed up.
