Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2!

For the people offered a TP2 replacement in store, did you receive any type of documentation or was it just offered verbally?

Picked up my TP2 today to replace the TP...pretty much no questions asked. Wish it was the same for those who are having problems, phone is badass!

I understand what your saying, but why should we live with these problems??? Such an expensive phone and so many problems...that not right...I'm not gonna pay like $400-$600 for a new phone just because i bought a brand new Touch Pro when sprint released it and its been giving problems ever since...y should i and thousands of other Sprint Touch Pro users pay for the problems sprint has given us??
you pay over $400 for the TP, and all i get are late texts, missed calls, phone is dead before the end of the day, phone gets hot, and its slow as hell...thats not right...

For all who is having problems getting a TP2. Bring the MEMO! Once they seen the Memo no question ask they will give you a TP2. I went to a store @ NYC and they were giving me some B.S. Once they were done. I ask for the Manager and show the Memo...He told the Rep.."Pass him a TP2" The look on the Sprint Rep was FREAKING CLASSIC!!!! When he went to the back there was no TP2. So by Oct 17th that when I get my TP2...Again be nice to them and kind..just have that memo with you

Oh nicee...im from NY too im in Valley Stream, but imma go to Jamaica, Queens and try to get it...do u have the memo??? i have no clue what memo pplz is talkin bout. i cant find the memo no where...im assuming it was an image on Howard Forums, but its not there anymore...can u email it to me or PM me or something???

I wonder why so many different stories. This is something that Sprint even acknowledges and still their staff are making it difficult to follow their own rules. I had no issues switching mine (in store, on the phone was another story) and it was my first TP that was almost up on the one year warranty. Don't get it twisted I did have legit issues with mine and was looking to dump it anyway. I feel like i'm getting over somehow but all I did was follow Sprints policy....

update. got my TP2 today. drove 2hrs to the closest repair center, though
