Absolute fastest ROM? - Page 3

I have always like demolitions ROM, it zooms! In my expericene mine is fairly quick, but I will be upgrading the build soon, so it should get even quicker

Other than that, welcome to the world of ROM junkies that spend all their waking hours flashing ROMs trying to find the one that is best for them.

And as evidenced by the responses above, the best just depends on who you are and what you have tried.

he's right, his rom is fast.we see these questions all the time and there is no answer. if you want raw speed then get a kitchen and delete everything you don't use and find a good pagepool size. the less you have running, the better. I have always taken a minimalist approach to everything to do with computers. in linux it is strip the kernel of everything unused. in ppc it is (for me) strip all the oems i dont want out and trim everything. I dont want anything to load that I do not depend on. if you are unable or unwilling to cook your own, download a bunch of current roms and try them all.

I agree that NFSFAN is a quick ROM, but I switched a few days ago from that ROM to the Warrior iphone clone ROM (awesome ROM) & it is every bit as fast as NFSFAN & nowhere near as quirky.......

Hmm, most of what we have here in this thread is pretty subjective. Unfortunately the answer to who has the fastest ROM will differ depending on who is using the ROM. Without objective data (benchmarks) you really won't find out until you use each ROM and judge for yourself.

That being said, research each ROM (in their respective threads) and experiment.

When you find the one that is fastest to you....stick with it and give feedback to the chef so that it keeps getting better

Listen just try different ROMS and see what ya like. I've tried Mighty's, ENRG's, Groove's, Sac's... I like them all for different reasons. Just like I prefer 6.1 over 6.5 for different reasons. +3! Thats the best part about being a member of this site. When I do find a good ROM, i find myself still flashing to every ROM that comes out for the TP. The fastest ROM is subjective and relative to YOU. Do the work to find out, if you call it work. Bigg ups to the Brewmasters !!!

Listen, the only absolute in life is you are going to die. Check out each ROM for at least 1 day, jot down what you like and don't like, repeat, then compare. Voila! Where's my money!!!???

i use mighty\silence rom and i read to change pagepool to 12 and it works awesome on the vzw touch pro

I actually used this ROM when i went on my vacation and wow it definitely is good.

I've used it to test, although with working on my own stuff, I wasn't able to run it for a few days.

I went on vacation to chicago from Thurs > Monday and because I was away I couldn't use data, although with the phone running itself with no data and a few wifi connections + msn chat throughout the day. At one point it took 4 hours to move from 100% battery... I didnt have to charge my phone for about 2 full days. I only charged it when it hit 40% just to top it off...

I was pretty impressed

i envy you!!! the longest i had my phone last was 1.5 days and the first day i didnt do anything but have my email pull every hour
