Absolute fastest ROM?

i'll second a few of dcd's roms are blazing cuz they are so base

Well, any 6.1 rom is going to be quicker than 6.5. DCD has smokin' roms because he yanks all the crap and un needed services out the backend, like sql mobile. I cook my own roms and do this myself. I recently went back to 6.1 with the 21052 base and I have to put a seat belt on my touch pro. If you are looking for the quickest, look for 6.1. If you are looking for eye candy, look for 6.5. Best thing to do is find chefs who have 6.1 and start flashing.

I'm going to have to say DCD or Silence Roms for me those are the fastest. Mike has the most stable and Juicy and Energy have the newest builds. Energy has the best looking and organized rom i have seen yet but the battery life isn't there for me.

As others have been saying if you want speed (& stability imo) go with a 6.1 rom.

Eyecandy then 6.5. Although 6.1 isn't necessarily ugly to look at. I have no problem with it.

Try out different roms. I went through about 10 this past week, and i'm sticking with Mighty/Silence 6.1 rom. Very fast, stable, and good battery life.

I haven't used any of DCD's since I got my TP, but I used his roms on my mogul and LOVED them.

The fastest ROM tends to be the bare bones stripped versions. Once you start loading programs on your device, you will notice a slow down in speed.

I would said NFSFAN rom has been the fastest by far for me, optimized kernel and video drivers, just made a huge difference.
