he's right, his rom is fast.we see these questions all the time and there is no answer. if you want raw speed then get a kitchen and delete everything you don't use and find a good pagepool size. the less you have running, the better. I have always taken a minimalist approach to everything to do with computers. in linux it is strip the kernel of everything unused. in ppc it is (for me) strip all the oems i dont want out and trim everything. I dont want anything to load that I do not depend on. if you are unable or unwilling to cook your own, download a bunch of current roms and try them all.
