Can anyone give me an example of that arcsoft threaded messages are supposed to look like after this is properly installed? I installed but I notice no difference from stock.

What's the difference between the 5.0 Arcsoft cab posted on page 1, and the 5.2 Arcsoft cab thats floatin around other forums..?? Is the 5.2 better since it's newer, or is there a reason we should use the 5.0 one listed here..?? I'm going to try both anyways so if nobody posts back I will lol..

3. Install Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79.cab and Soft Reset. Then you should be done...

I used to get the default windows threaded MMS with the little pic or video icon next to the message, and now I dont have that anymore. I have these big grey messages with pics. Is there a way to get the old style back?

"The default is 512k sending limit, and 10 meg d/l limit. I removed the limit for editing the server setting. Now you can edit the sprint server, and change the limit there in the app without having to do any regedits. You can select 512k (For compatibility with other carriers), 1 meg, and 5 meg."

HOW DO U CHANGE THIS SETTING PLZ?

What is the regedit to allowed mms to show up in the same thread as them sms.
i have a Sprint TP2 and can't seem to get that working. I end up having two threads for a contact. One for mms and another for sms. Im using the new version of Arcsoft if that helps

Please help...

Anyone having issues with installing the Remove PictureMail & Arcsoft.cab? For some reason it wont install the 12kb on my TP... I know this thread is old and well versed and I have gone through the whole thread, but I cant get this to install either on the storage card or my device...

**Attention** I just decided to reflash my TP and install the Arcsoft. It works now, I'm just having the same issue as him/her http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=409... But I'm running the MIGHTYROM6.5

Make sure you have any userface that uses messaging disabled on the Today screen.

this thread goes way back...it was very helpful when i needed it in the past. gracias.

so i recently started testing out different roms on my touch pro through sprint, in the process, i never backed up or wrote down any important registry settings. A while back I was messing around with the registry and was able to adjust the limits like so many here have done.

i have since flashed back to stock rom, ran the remove picture mail, soft reset, etc. I am using vers 5.0.82.79.

I can't find anyone mentioning it, but I was able to make a change that prevented arcsoft from shrinking images upon receiving them to my phone. For example, I sent a large photo once when testing it out, 5.5mb I believe and that was the same size i recvd it as, also the resolution and quality were left unchanged.

granted, i dont plan on sending large pictures like that ever, but I do on rare occasion need to send/recv large, high quality photos for work on my phone, so that regedit preventing arcsoft from shrinking my photos in anyway was fantastic.

SO, does anyone know what possible settings/regedits I may have had, perhaps you use them as well?

oh yeah, i really feel for those whose phones take a long time to dl/recv mms on their phones. my large mms came in pretty damn quick.
