so i recently started testing out different roms on my touch pro through sprint, in the process, i never backed up or wrote down any important registry settings. A while back I was messing around with the registry and was able to adjust the limits like so many here have done.
i have since flashed back to stock rom, ran the remove picture mail, soft reset, etc. I am using vers 5.0.82.79.
I can't find anyone mentioning it, but I was able to make a change that prevented arcsoft from shrinking images upon receiving them to my phone. For example, I sent a large photo once when testing it out, 5.5mb I believe and that was the same size i recvd it as, also the resolution and quality were left unchanged.
granted, i dont plan on sending large pictures like that ever, but I do on rare occasion need to send/recv large, high quality photos for work on my phone, so that regedit preventing arcsoft from shrinking my photos in anyway was fantastic.
SO, does anyone know what possible settings/regedits I may have had, perhaps you use them as well?
oh yeah, i really feel for those whose phones take a long time to dl/recv mms on their phones. my large mms came in pretty damn quick.
