Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 From Sprint With Threading MMS - Page 38

Please I'm begging I'm in need of help. here is my problem I have tried all the steps in trying to get Arcsoft to work. I'm using Sprint HTC Touch Pro on the stock Rom I'm able to Send Picture out find fast and everything But When I email a Picture back to the phone hitting reply in my Computer email my phone just wakes up no mail no nothing. Also my phone recieves text fast and everything I uninstall/reinstall about 50 times. Please Help. also I do not want to try a custom rom. can anybody help with with this Stock sprint Rom please also if i can't help it i donot want to Hard rest.

i've followed your post for adding the Arcsoft. it worked like a charm. Awesome. Thank you. I just have a few other questions? if you dont mind can would you elaborate on these or anybody? I've read another post saying to change some of the settings in Arcsoft? What are these settings suppose to do or not do if i decide not to change them?
Connect Via option to change from INTERNET to Sprint. In the set up it defaults to internet? Does it matter? Whats the difference?

Well there are different settings that you have to input to have it work under sprint, verizon, ect. And as for the Connect Via Internet/Sprint, connecting via internet lets u send/receive through WiFi while connecting through sprint only allows you to send/receive through the sprint data connetion

Im not sure but it sounds like you just installed the "remove sprint picture mail" cab and thats it. Im saying this because I just removed sprint picture mail once without installing arcsoft and all it would do was wake up. After you remove sprint picture mail, reset, install the arcsoft app, reset and you should be good.

I've taken the phone into the store and called them at least 6 times bout this. They cant figure it out. It started bout 3 weeks ago now. Seems Like whenever I have it connected to my computer at work, it gets worse. One minute it corrects itself, then its stops again

I tried that many times still just wakes up what else should I do I hate to hard reset and redo it even though i backup up with SPB Backup it will have sprint MMS on it you know what I mean, I have a lot of settings that boost up the phone like the camera ect. had to have to redo everything manually..

for some reason after i downloaded this my TP has become way slower.

im using the current mr5 as of 6.09, the problem is when i have sent out a text and try and go back to the main sms/mms screen it will almost freeze for a min.

it becomes very annoying is there any way to fix this????

I'm on the stock rom too. I'm sorry to say but I think the only way to get yours to work is to hard reset. I use SPB backup too so that's why I wasn't so worried about hard resetting. Worst case scenario is that you do a full backup now, save it on your storage card, hard reset, DON'T INSTALL THE SPRINT PICTUREMAIL, and then install the arcsoft app (no need to run the 'remove picture mail' since you did a hard reset). If you perform tests and it STILL doesn't work, then just flash to the full backup you just saved and you're back to exactly where you were before the hard reset.

Two ideas... do you have CodyPersonalizer installed? It is the program that changes the "sprint" on the home screen to anything else you want. This program will cause the symptoms you described.

Have you tried going to the website, sending your phone your "password" log on for the picturemail site, navigate to the picmail site on your phone's web broswer then send a pic from the picmail site to your phone. Sometimes that kicks it in.
