Like what?? (other then VZ Navigator)

I have had both the leaked VZ ROM & the stock Sprint ROM in my TP's at one time or another & IMHO the stock Sprint ROM has WAY more unnecessary bloatware then the VZ ROM??

There was some app on there that VZW installed that helped you organize you calendar, email, etc. I had asked the CS Rep. when I returned the phone what it was, she stated that it was an "organizer". My statement to that was I don't need and additional organizer that was the whole purpose for buying a PDA phone in the first place.

I got my VZW Touch Pro the first week it was out and returned it in 1 week for a Mogul. To me the Mogul was a better device.

Posts like this leave me scratching my head. Although I use a Sprint TP on my VZ account, I could be perfectly happy with the VZ version after using one at work.

Two guys I work with have VZ TouchPro's. One is running SSK 1.5 (I flashed it for him) & the other is still using the stock ROM. To call these phones of theirs "slow, laggy, crippled etc" is just plain flat out wrong information. Granted, they don't have the free memory available that my Sprint phones do, but they run every bit as fast as any Sprint phone in side by side tests & never come anywhere near maxing out the free mem.

"Verizon has bloatware"
"Sprint has extra applications and that makes them better then Verizon"
"Verizon doesn't have the youtube app so its worse"

Give me a break guys, seriously. There's gotta be more important and actually rational arguments to be made on other issues in this world. :p And I'd like to see if having less RAM as I mentioned above does improve battery life, because if so that's a pretty badass reason for it because it gets a big pro in exchange for a very minor con.

No I didn't pay extra for it but it used RAM that I could have used for something that I want to use.

So let me make sure I understand. VZ included the program free, there is no charge to use it & you're pissed about it??

Geez, some people are never happy I guess......

My disdain of Verizon comes from having been a customer of them for 5 years and felt like I was being treated as a cow, milking every penny they could out of me. There's just no way I can patronize a company who feels like they can bully their own customers around.

I've been with Verizon for almost 11 years... I was with them when they were still Airtouch. I agree that my bill could probably be a little lower if I went with someone else, but I stick around for their fantastic customer service and the fact that I have never really had issues getting signal with them, even when I literally drove from coast to coast.

They have always bent over backwards to make us happy, even moreso now that I'm a "vip" customer. I do usually wince when I see the phone selection on offer by other carriers, and knowing how much less my Sprint-using coworkers pay for data and all that, but overall I am a happy customer.

When the Pre comes out... that might finally be the last straw for me though. If it's as good as it looks...

I agree 100%.

I get a corporate discount through my business, but I'm sure Sprint is still a little cheaper. I did have Sprint for a while & will never go back.

I guess I wasn't happy because I didn't get what I expected. No problem no biggie wasn't complaining. I exchanged the phone and moved on. Please do the same.:)
