Re: music location
I too am looking for this. I have the music tab set on tf3d and it goes to storage card/ringers (which is where I have all my ringers stored) and I want it to go to storage card/my documents/my music to locate the files. I went to HKLM>software>HTC>AudioManager_Eng>config and changed both device_scan_path_path_0 and device_scan_path_path to storage card/my documents/my music but it's not working.

Re: music location
I keep all my MP3 music in a folder called MP3 and my ringtones in a folder called Sounds both on my Storage Card and it finds everything even from day one. I even had to set a playlist to keep the ringtones out of my music

I'll try the "music" option and see if that works. edit: ok I tried it and now it says no music available. I moved MUSIC to storage card and changed the registry. No music found. Moved MUSIC to storage card/my documents/MUSIC and nothing found either. Last edited by nursemm05; 03-25-2009 at 01:19 PM. |

if your ringtones r in the device in ringtones where they should be, you wouldnt have that problem... its happening because your just picking storage card in your media player, so yes, it scans the entir card directory..if u move the tones off the card, u wont have that issue |

Re: music location
Mine picks up my music on the storage card and even pulls up the album art but has the track length at 0:00 and won't play. These same files play fine on my PC. Anyone else seen that?
