if your ringtones r in the device in ringtones where they should be, you wouldnt have that problem... its happening because your just picking storage card in your media player, so yes, it scans the entir card directory..if u move the tones off the card, u wont have that issue

well did it occur to you that people might just store their ringtones on their memory card and copy the ones they want to their device to be used for memory purposes. i dont know about other people, but my ringtones that i paid for the mp3 file and edited using adobe audition are around between 300kb to 1.5mb in file size. they take up a lot of space. i usually use them for a while and i dont keep more than about 10 on the device itself at a time. they use up too much memory and the phone starts lagging. anyways, is there some law saying we HAVE to store the ringers on the device when they're not in use?
