Well, now when I get a message from my wife's Env on vzn service, that is over 160, I get all of it, in multiple messages and the error where as before, I would just get the first 160 and then the error. So, that seems like it is doing something....

Well, maybe I did something wrong then.

I will have to go back & recheck the changes I made & try it again....

It wasn't for me either & my Wife has a phone to try it from.

I will recheck all my mods & try it again tonight, I would really love to see this problem fixed although it doesn't really happen to me very often.

I'm going to give it a try again and see what I can come up with..But im not getting excited.

Well I'll be damned, it worked.

I just redid the settings again (although they seemed to be fine) & then sent a long text from my wife's old flip phone on VZ to my TP.

I got four consecutive texts & then the error about media objects removed.......

yep thats what i get...just need to kill the error now.

JM if you got it to work i will try it again. not sure if its something to do with just the sprint TP on vzn thought. mine is a vzn TP.

Hrmmm I tried this again and its still not working..I wonder if its because i have the VZW TP and not a Sprint TP? I'm going to mess around some more and maybe ill get it working.

It doesn't seem like that should matter, but who knows??

Mine is a Sprint TP hardware, but with it flashed to scrosler's SSK 1.5 it really is a VZ phone at this point I would think.

It is definitely working for me, my son sent me a real long sms from his VZ enV 2 & it came in 4 parts. He got an error back telling him that it didn't work as my phone did not support enhanced messaging (i got the error at my end too), but the error was incorrect as the whole message came through just fine.
