I agree, I think it turned out better than I expected. However I will likely hold out for a little while to see if they come out with a larger capacity...I really want a 3200mAh batt

That would certainly be nice, but do you really think it's realistic? Look how bulky this one is - the 3200 would come out another inch or something! And if the 2000 is $55, than a 3200 would probably cost close to $100. I just don't think there's a market for that large a battery - as it is a lot of people won't buy the 2000 because it makes the phone too bulky, and most people who own this phone won't get any extra battery. I think the chances of seeing a 3200mAh battery is probably around 1 in 100, but that's just a guess...

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures

It doesn't look half as bulky as the extended battery for the 6700/Apache...

For those that have this, does battery creak improve at all?

I prefer to carry spare OEM batteries instead. I carry two on my keychain in a small neoprene CF card wallet that came with my Sandisk Extreme III CF card.

Covers all the batter power I will ever need in a day or two.
What method do you use to charge the batteries?

You guys can do simple math. The stock battery is 1350mah, the Seidio extended is 2000mah.
This batter lasts 1.5 times longer.

So if the stock battery lasts you 16 hours, then the extended will last you 24 hours (under the same amount of usage of course)

so, how does the battery actually perform? is there a noticable increase in the life of the battery that is worth the $55 from seidio? is really 50% better than the oem battery?
i am a real heavy user and can really benefit from a 2nd battery, but i"ve been waiting for reviews...considering i am using the official sprint rubber case, do you recommend this larger /bulkier battery for me?
my last phone was the ppc-6700 and i had the seidio extended battery and the size didnt bother me.

yes i hardly need to emergency charge it anymore. Still requires daily charging but I can use it heavily all day long and be at 20% by the end of the day when I plug it and go to sleep.

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures

I wasn't going to comment until Friday but I'm liking what I'm experiencing....

Yesterday I was at 80% full at 1:30PM. I pulled it from the charger at 6AM. In the afternoon I hammered on it testing a VPN client with RDP and SSH. I then did a lot of browsing when I got home and multiple soft resets as I was making changes to the registry. At 7:30pm it finally fell to 5%.

For me, this was an EXTREMELY busy afternoon. Today should be a more typical day and based on yesterday it should last though the day and into the night without issue. I will report back.

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures

I can't believe no one has made this observation:

"It's not a tumor!"

But yeah...I'm waiting to find a decent battery/charger combo w/ a few more mAH and am going to extra battery route myself. Seems like a better option for me personally.
