Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
The cover doesn't even match flush with the bottom? Still have to say it's ugly and the least they could do is smooth it out not just have this bulge. Also being this phone charges off mini usb honestly where do you go and how far away are you from a charging point. On the rare occasions I run low after a day of usage and am away from home most people I know have a camera cord, phone charger, or other mini usb cable I can tap for awhile.

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
Ever think of carrying around a second "normal" battery? That's what I do with my Motorola V9m and am gonna be doing with my Touch Pro(should be receiving it Monday).

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
Seriously Fugly. No thanks.
I prefer to carry spare OEM batteries instead. I carry two on my keychain in a small neoprene CF card wallet that came with my Sandisk Extreme III CF card. Covers all the batter power I will ever need in a day or two. |

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
I bought a cheap battery charger from eBay, so I can charge my spare battery while using the other one. I just swap them as I need them. Also added advantage of reducing wear and tear on the EXT USB port.

I personally think it's ugly. I wasn't expecting but I was hoping for a much better design. But this is all you have if you want longer phone time as of now. Either buy it or don't. There are other solutions. It's your call.

On days where I leave home at 5:30am and return at 9:30pm I have about 40-10% remaining. I don't need an extended. |

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
Just got mine last week, it looks beautiful. A perfect dark black.
The hump is barely noticeable, still fits easily in the holster that came with the phone, and LASTS FOREVER. Seriously..i don't know what I have to do to drain this thing. It feels almost like its not just 50% higher capacity than the default HTC battery, but much much better quality. This thing was worth every penny. And it does fit flush on my phone. Feels way better than before, feels like I have a much better grip. |

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
Something that my buddy noticed that's too bad, there is actually extra room in the height of the bump in the case. So, it didn't have to be so big

Re: Seidio 2000mAh pictures
Personally I could care less how it looks, but that's just me. My phone is something for functional use, not for showing off how stylish I am. Those wanting to make fashion statements might want to stick with a different phone anyway
![]() I have car chargers for both our cars and wall chargers for home and work, but anything that can help in the cause is something I'll take. I'd consider an extra regular battery, but having to carry it around as a seperate thing all the time would get a bit old (this is why I have multiple chargers - so I don't have to think about transporting them!). Battery life is weird. Sometimes I can go for ages without the battery guage being affected, whereas other times it seems to suck down power like crazy. I wish there was some kind of map of how much gets used for various things. From what I can tell, Wifi, GPS, and streaming audio over bluetooth can all deplete the battery faster than normal. I suppose anything that keeps the screen on more will do this as well, and I suppose streaming video over the net will as well. It would be nice to know how all these things compare, as well as talking and general data transfer. The other thing I'm wondering is whether if you have lots of stuff open does the Touch Pro start using caching and memory swaping mechanisms that require more power. In short, I'd love for someone to write a program that tells you live how much power you are spending. That way you could tell as you use things how much the power consumption goes up or down. Not sure how feasible creating such a program would be, but I think it would be enormously enlightening since different people seem to have very different power usages, and even the same person seems to experience different consumption rates depending on what they are running, etc. |
