6/8/09 FIRMWARE UPDATE: Verizon GPS Unlocked

Has anyone tried this gps unlock fix on the verizon touch diamond? Seems like the phone is very similar to the touch pro, thought there might be a chance it would work. Thanks!

I'm fairly certain that's how i initially installed the fix in this manner but i'll do it over again to make sure.

Bored does the gps fix work with wm6.5 The display gets blurred after applying the fix using caulikins 1.7 kitchen and oem cdma drivers

yes it does.... i used it on mine a few days back.... there should be no reason for any display issues ... this deals with the radio sector of your device and nothing windows mobile other than ppst.exe

i downloaded every thing i need, i extracted and stored on my card, but i couldn't install the bore neither the ppst because there's no setup.exe file how could i install? all i saw is setup.xml file i couldn't execute this file, please help!!! Thanks.

just install the gps fix cab to your device... there is nothing to extract... the cab itself will execute when you click on it within your device

So when I load Google Maps and it automatically finds my location, then that is a good sign, correct? Thanks to the OP and all who helped. Great work.

Thanks Bored, i got it worked andmy gps was detected, but there's no turn by turn and voice, there's only map list. Please help!!!
