Re: best video playback settings to avoid jerky playback?
I use this program
http://www.imtoo.com/3gp-video-converter.html File format .3gp Go to the advaced tab and choose Codec: h.263 Resolution: 640x480 Bit rate: 512 Frame rate: 20 ish Audio Channels: Mono That has worked great for me, it shows up ands playsback smoothly in the TF3D video player. I even took a HD .dvrms file from media center and converted it and it looked amazing. |

Qtv works faster than rawbuffer or GDI or Direct draw, however when run over the touch pro video out cable there is a horrible blue flicker.

No. Whatever player you use with TV-Out the playback is going to be jumpy. However, the dedicated DivX player seems to do better with TV-out than Coreplayer.

Re: best video playback settings to avoid jerky playback?
Are those other players really that much better than the WM version? I just got my TP and tried some of the movies I had converted for my Moto Q years ago and they worked well. A bit grainy, but worked well. Now I'm just looking for some settings that will boost the resolution on the new videos I convert.

Re: best video playback settings to avoid jerky playback?
Ok...I just loaded up some newer movies onto my storage card. Had zero lag, smooth video, audio and video matches with no issues, resolution is beautiful as ever...here is what I used and what I did:
TCPMP v0.72 for playback Any Video Converter @ the following settings: customized avi convert, resolution @ 320x240, audio: mp3 It plays back flawlessly. I have tried to up the resolution to the full 640x480 but I get the lag and herky jerky playback. |
