Yeah, I mean - its not like I dyed the battery purple or something.

Besides, if I get that worried about it I will hit up my Sprint Corp store and tell them I lost the battery cover first and get it replaced. That way I will have a spare thats not altered also just for such purposes.

Oh yeah, the black stylus won't turn purple no matter how hard you try.

man this is AWESOME i cant wait to get my TP so i can try this...

im kinda tempted to take the phone apart and dip the chrome pieces in there too!

but if the stylus didnt hold the color i doubt the chrome trim will....

I'm pretty surprised to see this works so well. My TP is due to go back to Best Buy very shortly... I'm trying to devise a way to keep the back cover... possibly slide it off before I drop the phone in the box after they say they will exchange it (again)? I already accidentally took the SD card from the last one :P

Even more surprised on the stylus... is the Diamond stylus different then? The plastics on my stylus feel very similar. And how'd he stir the stylus around in a metal pot if the stylus is magnetic?

ima call bestbuy and tell them to make sure you turn in the sd card and the backplate :P

That magnet in the stylus is about as strong as a refrigerator magnet to pulling a car.

I went to get some more black dye and they are out. Went to two different stores..the demand for RIT DYE has gone up

yea then when were all done dy'ing our covers their going to have a ****load of dye thinking that they were going to keep selling it..

I should have taken pics of doing this with an XBox 360 controller. I think I may try it again, but just turn down the heat. I almost had it boiling. Duh!

Did this a few days ago, but didn't post pics....

There are several out here already, but for what its worth - here is a stock silver sitting next to newly dyed black. I'm still amazed this works so well....
Simple things in life I guess right??
