I agree, Sprint Customer Service is quite a bittersweet experience. They really need to revamp their service and get rid of these idiots that give the company a bad name.
Mr. Dan Hesse, for all the advertising you do for the LG Rumor you really should be doing some in-house cleaning...ASAP. Whether we buy the rumor or the pro, we have to deal with your vast network of slobs and half wits and it would be nice to have your CS police treat us like human beings more often than not. I've said this before and I'll say it again...to all those who signed up with Sprint just to get the Touch Pro...welcome to Taco Hell Style Customer Service. |

Well sweethearts as much as sprint sucks. I suggest that you complain to the highest manager in account cancelations letting them know what this was promised to you. You wouldn't request it if it was never offered let them know that you're a loyal cust. After getting excited and researching the phone you find out that they want to pull the wool over on your eyes and keep talking to the cancellation dept they will bend over backwards for you. I ripped such a hole in them recently that they've credited sister and my account to close to $800 its more than 8mons of free service with them and 2 new touch pros. It was offered to me as well and when time came for the phone they didn't want to give it to me i got a great rep who stuck with me for about 2wks and got me the phone and my sister is getting hers shortly as well

Good luck trying to get that credit though. Sprint's customer service can suck...but recently, they've been named the best over all the carriers. And come on, remember a year ago when it was really bad? |

This is pretty much the same thing that every company has these days. You see it everywhere you go. I can go into a store and need help with something and end up getting a person that I'd bet can't even spell their own name. Unfortunately these same people end up spreading throughout companies, especially in customer service. Most customer service is farmed out these days and the contracted company just hires warm bodies.

The only other carrier I ever have to deal with is Alltel and that is only because the company I work for is with them, and I'm in the IT department. I have to say they are not any better than sprint, at least in my opinion. I have had to deal with their advanced support with our crackberry's and BES server. You only get someone who knows what their doing about 1 in 5 times.
