Re: Free Sprint Battery- YMMV
I got a free battery from sprint as well!! I went into Sprint today and complained about the battery life. Initially I was told "sorry, the next generation of Touch Pro's might have better batteries." I stuck around for a bit and just chatted with one of the guys.. After 5 minutes, he says "Well, let me see if we have any extra batteries in the back." Success!
For everyone else, def worth a try. Just be cool about it and you should score one. If i can get one in Brooklyn (meanest city in the US), you can def score one anywhere. |

Re: Free Sprint Battery- YMMV
I went to a sprint store with 2 of my old OEM titan batteries and told them that i was upgraded through insurance because they didn't have any titan's in and they were willing to replace them for touch pro batteries, the girl didnt even hesitate. so if any of you have old batteries, maybe just offer a trade.

Re: Free Sprint Battery- YMMV
I'm on my third TP (build date of 12/28/08 - it seems great!) because my first one locked up on the first night and it wouldn't even hard reset, and I broke the usb charge port on my second one.
The guys at my local sprint store (which is a repair center also) let me keep everything from both phones, so now I have extra styluses (styli ?!?), batteries, battery covers, microSD cards, etc. They told me the same thing - they only return the actual phone itself. Very nice of them to let me keep all that stuff IMO. They did mention that they take into consideration a couple of things before they just give out free stuff though - amount of time you've been with Sprint and the reason why you are returning the phone. |

Re: Free Sprint Battery- YMMV
Do you think they would give out batteries in regular sprint retail stores or only corporate repair store?
By regular stores, I mean ones that are open by Sprint, not 3rd party retailers. Thanks |
