Free Sprint Battery- YMMV - Page 6

I went to the stores in Commack NY and the one in Queens NY by St John's University.

The reps at Commack usual give out a lot of free stuff to my friend, but I went alone this time and asked them about the battery and they said they don't have any.

I then went to the one in Queens and, you guys are right, they tried to charge me money for it. I told them my battery has never gone beyond 8 or 9 hours with any type of usage and they told me to go to BB and get an exchange (waaay too late for that).

So if anybody is willing to let go of one of their spares, ill be glad to take them off your hands. I am going to go check a store out in New Jersey to see if I can get it exchanged atleast.

So this is probably gonna make some people mad but I went to the Sprint store yesterday to actually play around with the Touch Pro before I get mine... Ended up buying the accessory package with the case, bluetooth, and car charger and was talking with the dude about the Touch Pro and how I love my Curve's battery life and know I won't get that with the Touch Pro. He says hold on a minute and comes back with a battery. Didn't even have to ask.

On top of that, he gave me his card in case I want to sell my Mogul. He has a friend that wants one because he refuses to give up his Mogul and his died... Woot.

I was up at the Sprint Store a month ago and was given a free battery. The battery life was still horrible so I went back up there last week and the rep asked me if I wanted to try a new phone. They ordered me out a refurb which I picked up last friday. Huge difference! I've been off the charger for 11 hours now and am still at 90% with light use!! Typically I'd already have had the phone on the charger! The build date on the refurb is the same as my old one (10/19), but the refurb date is 1/8.
