One reason I put the Seidio black rubberized hard case on my phone was to hide that butt-ugly chrome (Sprint blew it big time with the looks of this thing compared to the original HTC TP IMHO)

Luckily, it easy enough to fix. The Seidio case it such a good fit it looks like it came on the phone & it also covers up the stupid looking Sprint emblem plastered on the front of the device........

do you have additional information on this? where can i get more information and what requirements are needed for them to replace the phone?

sucks. i bought mine @ BB on 12.26.08. got the flaking today.
talked to sprint via chat and they couldn't do anything about it. nor did they find any notes.

this sucks.

can anyone confirm the matte look? i haven't seen and details or pictures of the matte touch pro

i had the same issues on my previous pro. just got my replacement today. build date 11/20. we'll see if this one holds up.

where did you get the replacement ? where did you purchase the phone? can i just walk into my sprint store and they will do it for me?

Man do I agree with this, on both counts. Just looking at the HTC site and how the TP looks there, makes me wonder WTH Spint was thinking with their design. I bought the Seido case and clip too, when I bought the phone and it fits great. It's like you said, in that it's like it came with the phone. It will be interesting to see if I do end up with any cracks eventually, with the case on.

just walked into my local sprint store. they took a look at my old one and just ordered me a replacement. i got my phone directly from sprint. i also have the total equipment protection program too which makes it a ton easier on their end too.
