Yep, you have to re-load the PRL to get it to to connect to Sprint. I attached the sprint one that I used when I converted mine back. You will also need to reset the MIP default profile and MIP profile if you changed them. Here are the sprint settings for these:
MIP Profile:
Active user profile: 1
MIP_MODE: Mobile IP only
Reg retries: 1
Retry timeout: 2000ms
Pre-Reg timeout: 30
Mobile Node-HA: Disable
Send A Reg: Enable
Dormant Handoff Opt: Disable
MIP Default Profile:
NAI: <phone's MEID>@hcm.sprintpcs.com
HA SPI Value: 4D2
AAA SPI Value: 4D2
DMU Pub Key: 0
HA Shared Secret: <should be blank>
AAA Shared Secret: <should be blank>
If you backed up the HA and AAA before you changed to VZW you can reset those your self. If not, the person who uses the phone on Sprint will have trouble with their data. A sprint tech should be able to reset it.
(I went with the person who I sold my phone to together to the sprint store and walked the tech through repopulating the AAA and HA keys, which they felt a little curious about.)
You're also going to need to reset your MSL back to sprint's MSL if you changed yours to all zeros. You'll need to use QPST for this. If you didn't write down the old MSL track down a sprint tech and get them to tell you.
One lesson I learned from this whole experience is to write down everything before overwriting it. And also to read the
whole thread before attempting any kind of major conversion like this. If I would have done that I would have found people were having all kind of trouble getting their phone's in the DMD and may not have attempted.
I'm going for a true VZW TP2 next. Good luck to you!
