Anyone sucessfully put a Sprint Touch Pro on the VZW Network yet?

Wrong Verizon will add any phone to there network as long as it is not on a bad report with another carrier u have to ship them the phone and it takes 4-7 weeks turnaround time. They will not warranty the device and do anymore then flash it and make it work. For anyone that needs more info find me in chat or pm me and I will give you the mailing address.

they didn't even tell me that if you ship the device to us we can see what happens
they flat out said (on all 6 occasions) we will not add this esn to our database and we cannot do it through the open handset
I can try sending the phone in, after unlocking the msl and changing that to all zeroes...that much I can do...but every rep in chicago in the 3 major vzw stores said absolutely not. This is what verizon told me
But if you do have some other information outside of that for the TP cna i pm you instead? I haven't been to the chat room ever

Stores will not tell u this since they obviously want u to buy the phone from them. We received the QRG explaining it about 3 weeks ago. There was also a hold on adding the TP and diamond to the switch and got a update on Monday that hold has been removed.

any reason why this hold hasn't matriculated down to tech support? Because emphatically on every occasion it was no we cannot add the esn to our system. Period. And in that case, since about 90% of tech support has said that this week (while surprisingly two other techs said it can be added even if it is a sprint phone two weeks ago) the only recourse is sending my phone in to verizon wireless?

Cause there just uneducated or don't wanna say couldn't tell ya. If you want call tech and tell them u need the addy for the Device Equipment Center to get your phone placed on the VZW switch and theyll tell ya everything after a short hold time.

I think there was a link floating around here with it...maybe I should flash the phone and change the msl code...something I haven't been able to do via qpst unforutnately...but verizon's rom for the raphael is much better than sprint

however, there have been many that said their devices were rejected though...what to do in that event?

I worked at a VZW store when i was in college, as a greeter, and I knew more about what was going on, than anybody else there.

Don't believe anything you hear in a VZW store, or from a VZW rep, unless it pertains to something really basic. The reality is that any information you read here is better than stuff you get from VZW employees.

I just wish I didn't have to go through vzw red tape and time
4 weeks turnaround time is way too long for me to get my touch pro
