Mine does that too!
Does anyone have a problem with favorites being deleted?

Re: glitch in the contact software

I don't have this issue, but I don't use the stock Contacts app (I use iContacts: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402724 ), though even when the stock app appears when I click "All People" in the TF3D People tab, hitting r does nothing other than start filtering contacts. I have a 10/18 build w/ stock ROM. I also installed PocketInformant, though it isn't my default Contacts app.

IContact does not fix anything. The only time you have this "R" issue when you initiate contact via manilla.

+1 for IContact in general though. Awesome app.

Re: glitch in the contact software

Wow! thanks for posting this. I thought I was going crazy.

I've been having various "problems" with my touch screen - I thought I was just having trouble getting used to it.

My phone seems to randomly dial people, but now I realize that a lot of them must be because my boss' name starts with 'R', as do several friends. This explains why my friend 'A' (the first contact) gets dialed a lot.

That, and I keep accidentally dialing people when I scroll thru contacts, get the endless scroll, tap the screen to stop it, but it actually selects a contact and dials (I must tap twice - I can't figure it out).

Anyway - at least I know it's not just me. I honestly was starting to consider that this phone is not for me.

Wow this is an interesting bug. Does this happen on the Diamond? Or the Touch?

I remember I had this problem once and did not mention anything in the forums, I tried t reproduce it again now after I started reading this forum and it does not happen with any letters, I just installed TF3D Conf and I have HTC touch original theme installed (HTC_Black_v193_1.2b). I know this theme changes some registry things and stuff maybe it will work with yours and if not then it is some software that I might have deinstalled lately.

I also select people on accident while scrolling. It's because the touch screen isn't sensitive enough... something with their makeshift means of making it flush--or something...

I wonder why they did it fine on the original Touch, but not on the Diamond or Pro...

Re: glitch in the contact software

Have people with this problem reported this to Sprint? I called last week and they advised me to swap out phones at Best Buy. I did that and have the same problem. Both times when I called Sprint (original phone and to let them know the new one is doing it), they said this was not a reported issue.

Not sure how these problems users call in about get escalated, but I suppose the more people calling in about it wouldn't hurt.....
