This is not ordered through Asurion's warehosue where they keep refurb phones thy buy off the manufaturer, it is shipped from the Sprint warehouse. The reason they dont know how long it will take because they are not the company packing the orders. Thats also why you are getting Diamonds, not Touch Pro's.

Great, I lost my TP, sounds like I'm going to get a Diamond, tremendous. I've paid for insurance for 5 years and never made a claim... I really hope they don't screw me over.

Yeah I know how you feel.. I have been with sprint forever and never had to make a claim. Not impressed with Asurion's service so far. I don't mind the wait, knowing the device is new and all, just would like an honest answer when I ask when I am getting the phone and to receive the correct phone the first time. Mine was delivered today after claiming it on 11/7. (this is the 2nd one delivered, first was a diamond.) We will see if its the right phone soon..

yeah just got off the phone with them the first service rep told me im stuck with it unless i pay another 50 to reinstate my original claim and then i asked for a manager and b*itched the manager out telling him hose much i paid for my touch pro 791.24. then she tells me how the diamond is a comparable model and i asked her where the key board and expandable memory? no answer........ now shes supposed to be emailing the warehouse to figure out whats going on, I DONT SEE HOW THE OTHER GUY CLAIMS HE GOT A TOUCH PRO, WHEN SHE SAYS SHES BEEN DEALING WITH THESE CALLS FOR TWO WEEKS

Yeh its getting rediculous. All i can say is for their sake I better have a pro on my doorstep when I get home. I *****ed them out enough last time and I thought they got the point. When I got the diamond, the first lady I spoke with didn't ask any questions, she appologized, explained they are supposed to ship within a certain time and the system automatically chooses something comparible. I explained the differences and she acknowledged right away that she was familiar with them and ordered me the pro. Guess we'll see what I have..
Like I said before, its not the fact that they are out of the phone that makes me upset, its the misinformation being given out. |
